Someone wrote about crimping pipes etc, and that it
wasn't done any more.
I just had my new hood for new kiln custom made and
the crimping looks mighty nice. When I asked the guy
if people stop doing this, he gave me a big smile and
a "hell..NO!"
In addition you can buy a crimping tool at the
hardware store for about $20.
If someone needs something like that, or something
done, let me know and i'll see what I can do.

Regarding the crimping tool I mentioned in an earlier post.
The manufacturer is "MAYCO" and contrary to what I posted earlier,
it IS made here in the US.
Available at Home Depot.
