3-zone conversion (was bailey oval kiln)

The newer Orton and Bartlett controllers are 3-zone. On the back of the
controller board on your single-zone kiln, you will see 2 thermocouple wires
connected to the board. If you see 4 other thermocouple terminals, your
controller will handle 3 zones.

I also have a Bailey Oval Kiln, and had terrible luck initially with the
Orton Controller that was shipped with the kiln.

Ray Catanzaro, (whose has a business called Kiln-Ray), did a fabulous
job re-engineering the controller, replacing the electronics with a
different make of comptroller that is much easier to program, and
replacement of the thermocouples plus an addition of a third
thermocouple since the kiln actually has three sets of elements Ray said
why not put a third level of control on there, thus giving it a middle
zone.
