glaze jet and vacuum wands

I have posted some photos of a Glaze Jet and some vacuum holders at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/clayart

The vacuum holders pictured are for total immersion dipping. If you
want to leave the foot unglazed, make it just have the cup without the
handle and the hose going out the back of the cup. The release flap
can be on the upper portion of the cup in that instance.

The rod for the Glaze Jet should not be too long or the disc will catch
on the inside edge of the elbow.

Feel free to let me know if you have questions.

Gordon, Thank you very much for the great photos, and for the the great link
to the woodworker with the vacuum chuck on his lathe.

This
fellow has a cheap source for a vacuum pump if you don't want to use or
don't have a deairing pug mill.
