Nice follow up to the rutile post.
I am glad your research backs up what I put in the book.
I tried to sample recipes that were in common usage and then find out what
makes them work in terms of mixing, firing and application. I hoped to
save potters all the research/trial and error and get right to the meat of
the solution.
What you have done is what I love doing - trying to figure it out on your
own. I also use the Currie method when necessary.
I have to commend you .I don't think I have ever seen "ibid" in a clayart
post.
