I agree. However: many people can help also through
donations in kind, esp. if transportation can be
provided as well. Water, tampons/pads, diapers, liquid
formula/bottles, underwear. Trucking comp. are
offering transport as well.

I hope (but doubt) that the water can be taken out
(call Holland) and rebuilding begin in time for NCECA.
I hope they can, simply because they will need our
business.

Never lived through a complete hurricane, but it was
close when we lived in New Orleans-French Quarter for
3 yrs. (husband pediatrician at Charity Hospital) and
i can guarantee you that there was no fear to me as
great as being holed up in that little house with 2
babies. Veered off to Galveston..aweful for them
instead..
PLEASE NOTE:
If anyone hears of an organization that is trying to
find homes for temp. shelter: I have 25 fam. here who
can, and we can provide for up to 10 ill children. Let
me know, please?
