i can vouch for po and his clayartchina.

he is a very trusted friend of this list.

he has worked with me to post his trips and his
clayart china postings. he has always checked his copy
with me, and has been concerned that we all understand what
he is doing. i cannot say that for a great many others.

barbara brown has gone on several of his trips and
has had nothing but great things to say about them.

he has asked me to help him lead the trip this spring, and
i am going to to that...with a very strong sense of what
he does and says. he is truthful. the entire trip will be based
on seeing old kiln sites....it is all about chinese ceramics.

joe koons will be in china for the month of october setting up
a show `iron saga`, at hong kong university, and the shanghai national.
we are also going to have a small show at the museum at the
kiln site of jian. that is a thrill. i will follow in april and touch
base with the people in charge of these shows/venues.
amoca has seen fit to do the exchange with the chinese museums.

i also feel that any friend of barbara's is a friend of mine. if we
can trust anyone on clayart it is barbara brown.

so, if any of you out there wants to see china in the spring...join us.
it will be a wonderful time of the year, a first class trip with an amazing
guide. po was born in shanghai. he now lives in san francisco.
