Clayworkers' Guild of Illinois - Clayart on fri 12 aug 05
Hi Everyone,
I'd like to introduce myself--I'm Kimi Hefty & I am currently the President
of the Clayworkers' Guild of Illinois. I have been a lurker for a long
time, but my Guild has asked me to submit a notice about our upcoming
demo-workshop (It seems that I must come out of the dark corner of my studio
for a bit.).
Our Guild, in conjunction with Great Lakes Clay & Supply and McHenry County
College have put on demo-workshops for a number of years. Now that have our
own web site, we can offer registration to our events on-line. Our upcoming
demo-workshop is "Porcelain Pots - A Touch of Elegance" with Susan Filley -
President of NCECA.
It is a two-day event. October 7 & 8, 2005 from 9am CDT - 4pm CDT (both
days) at the McHenry County College Conference Center in Crystal Lake, IL.
The cost is: $90.00 (USD) for both days, or $50.00 (USD) for either Friday
only or Saturday only. A boxed-lunch is also provided both days and is
included in the workshop fee. Ms. Filley will also have current work
available for sale at this event.
