As I've moved on to a bigger kiln, I have a few to pass on...
I have shelves and posts and could deliver in the S.D. / L.A. area.
Prices negotiable depending on details.

1. 28" X 31" (interior) propane updraft. Pilot thermocouple safety
Condition: Good to Excellent. This is a home built "Olympic
Torchbearer" style kiln. It was a Skutt 1227-3 3ph. (thats 3" walls,
9.9 cu ft). Been fired gas bisque 1 time. Fired electric bisque many
times and ^8 a few times. Coils are still intact and could be easily
reconverted to electric( remember 3ph.) I would be willing to do the
work for an interested party. $800

2. Old L-n L 17" x24" electric. Condition: Fair. This was my starter
kiln. Haven't fired it in 5 years. Had recently repalaced some of the
elements. Bricks are a little crusty. Shells are a little rusty some of
the elements will probably need to be replaced sooner than later. A few
of the element holders are broken or missing but still available from
L-n-L. Would be a great starter kiln with a little TLC and is firable
as is to ^6. $150

3. An old square kiln. 16" x 16" x 18". Condition: fair to good.
Has a Norman Electric sticker on it but I'm not sure that was the mfg.
Kiln walls are 4 1/2" thick, refractories are in excellent condition
stell shell has minor dents some rust, original pyrometer removed. I've
had this kiln for 10 years and only fired it a few times. Mostly
bisque. I can't remeber for sure if I ever glaze fired it. I would
suggest new elements before trying a glaze firing as I vaguely recollect
it might have been a little slow to temp. $150

Also I have an 85 cu. ft.(64 stacking) that needs to be rebuilt. When
completed it will be the twin of the one I'm firing now. Down draft car
kiln, double venturi flu box. You can see www.thecommonpot.com/kiln I
might be willing to redo it to spec. if somebody was really interested.
Otherwise I'll finish it later for us.
