Earl,

I had to laugh at this one too. My eyebrows raised when I read "why" this
non-profit school was being run out of business... and I had a good chuckle at
it too... sure... blame it on the war in Iraq, or the election... why not?
hahaha...

Maybe it was because all those die-hard Democrats up there in Easthampton,
MA were SO depressed after Kerry lost that they couldn't manage to muster the
energy to enroll in this studio's school or come up with any donations for
their organization.

:::okay okay::: enough - don't want to piss off the moderator and start a
political discussion here... but.. the original post was rather humorous I
thought (though probably not intended). I am sorry they had to close their
school, really, I am... but to put the blame where they did... I mean... come on...

Hi Folks,

Our unfortunate turn could be your benefit! The Guild Studio School in
Easthampton, MA is going out of business. We were a not for profit art
organization for the last 14 years, but could not seem to raise our student
numbers and donation funds up to earlier levels after the election and the
war in Iraq...
