Thank you Alissa for testing my twice-fired glazes in a kiln with a digital
control. I might point out that since I have trouble applying glaze, I am
(of course) decorating the insides of bowls and plates with slips, BUT using
a very dark MANGANESE FREE glaze on the outside. What I like about
Ari-the-Glaze is that it looks black but isn't.
Years ago I was "into" pink glazes. I found I got some lovely ones using
Iron chromate--a much neglected material I should get back to.
