Thanks for that info Mel. I am a true believer of ITC but never used
it on hard brick. The other good use of hard brick is bread ovens.

Tony: Hard men are easy to find. Just watch the evening news. It's kind
men are hard to find!

Could you tell me more about the 13.5 thick-walled wood burner?

A few years ago, in a fit of realism, I pulled down (well actually Mr K and
John Deere did) the very tall hardbrick chimney on my Obasanogama.
Obasanogama has now, after nearly 30 years sorta collapsed.

I am planning to build a very small woodburner, just for some sculpture
stuff.

I was going to ask if anyone could tell me if I could do it with only
hardbrick, of which I have plenty. I am hoping to make this a bourry if I
can combine that with Andrew Holden's design, where the fire mouth is just
below the chimney.
