Kathy,
I bisque in an Alpine 20 cu. ft. updraft all the time. Usually a 9 -
10 hr firing with a temp rise of about 100 degrees an hr to 1200 then
150 -200-- per hr to cone 04. Mike Gordon

I was just teaching at UH Manoa. They only bisque in their big gas
kilns, 6 of them. Glaze to ^10. No dunting.
