Dear Claybuds,
I finally got my cd and recipe cards from the shino show. Fabulous,
if you are a shino addict. Why? because the cards give recipes,
plus the firing schedule or glaze application from many who were
invited to be part of the show. In the letter from Leigh Talyor
Mickelson, she says that the cards plus the cd are selling for $35
plus tax (including shipping), soon, it will only be the cards that
are available which will be for $20. There is also a very nice
curator statement by Malcolm Davis.
Don't know why, but they used my image from my business card instead
of the cd that I sent them of the teapot that was actually in the
show. Doesn't bother me, but it is a very different teapot, but one
that won an award at a Fusion Show in Ontario.
So those folks that want more information about shinos, firing
schedules plus all kinds of recipes, it seems to me that it would be
smart to send off for this cd and cards. So I would imagine that you
could get in touch with Leigh through the Baltimore Clayworks
web-site, which is Http://www.BALTIMORECLAYWORKS.ORG

Meticky Liz from Grafton, Ontario, Canada
who is back from a wonderful Fusion conference. The presenters were
Chris Gustin, and Cathy Jefferson. All set to get back to work.
