Hi Gail,
Your photo album is all printed out and ready to go to China with me Sund=
ay.
I am going on Po Zhou of Chinese clayart's tour to the Yixing conference =
and then on to see pottery in other parts of China. The album is great b=
ecause you can connect a name with a face.
This morning I'm off to pick up our wonderful moderator, mel at the airpo=
rt as he arrives in SF bay area to do a workshop at Mother Earth Clay Art=
Center in Sunnyvale. =20

Hi, Barb -

my reaction to reading your email was "Ohhhh!" and then I got goosebumps all over my arms. Yixing teapots, mmmmm. Lucky you. When you see Mel, tell him I have my gas kiln entirely loaded, and I am waiting for two things before I fire it (finally!) - 1. my husband, John, to get back from Oklahoma, and 2. to get over this darn chest cold. I want to sit outside with it when it candles overnight for the first time, and being sick is not too conducive to sitting outside all night. Maybe I will be able to fire it on Monday-Tuesday. I gotta get in touch with Dannon. Maybe she can come up. Hopefully, the weather won't be crappy.

Enjoy your trip and your time with Mel!
Love, Gail
