There's a fabulous gallery
Del Mano
I think it is on SanVincente in downtown L.A. They had one cool teapot show
not long ago, in several media, tho I am not sure it is still happening,...it
is still a worthwhile trip.

Also the Museum of Modern Art in downtown LA is a cool place--only a block
from Disney concert Hall..

If you like being in gardens, take a drive to Pasadena to Huntington Gardens
to spend the day among incredible plantlife and sculpture.

You would not miss with an entire day (or two in Laguna Beach...if you are
there in the summer there are the 3 art festivals (an entire day for
that)---including the incredible Festival of the Masters. Another day at least for all
the galleries on and off PCH.

Highlight of all my trips to LA:
Take a trip to Ojai and visit Otto Heino....he is just a delightful,
wonderful man. I visited his studio and gallery, in the orange groves outside Ojai,
and when I told him I was a potter, he gave me the very special tour of his
kilns, studio, and gallery. He is genuine and warm and I was lucky enough to a
special "2nd" special lemon yellow vase of his for a very special price. What
a pleasure and privlege to have met him! His joy with working with clay, that
we all know and feel, permeates his very being....and a visit to him would be
always remembered in your life. Honest!

In Santa Monica....an incredible find is
Bergomot Station...old warehouse type building complex that is entire artists
and fine craftsmen.

Enjoy! Enjoy!
