Ron:

You know I write this with all do respect as we have been professional
colleagues for some time.

Your most recent post to Jon Pacini should have been sent off the list
and I think you know that.

Personally I know of no value in continuing your dialog, or quid pro
quo, or my dillatometer is bigger and better than yours, or what ever
because at this point, I think its time for all to retreat to their
respective corners of the ring and agree to disagree. Everyone is
entitled, to their own opinions as they are in their ways of working.
Personally I am way over bored with this discussion as its now on a
personal level.

Ron, my esteemed colleague, you should know better. Its time to put
this puppy to bed. You don't have to argue your points anymore. Let the
list subscribers make up their own minds as at this point, we know full
well the complete story.

In one post you argue that there are standards and then in another post
you mentioned that you though it only applied to clay bodies and then
there is the whole stable glaze issue and you know we all can agree on.

I don't understand the relationship between standards for raw materials
and creativity. That just does not make any sense what so ever, my
friend.

So hows about we put a lid on this thread and we all know that you
"are right" and we all know that Jon is "all right" and we are "all
right "so let's cut out the sniping. Unless there is some actual,
realtime, hard data to support this case, its high time to say good
night.

Respectfully

Jonathan
