Third Avenue Clay is a small and wonderful studio in the Park Slope section
of Brooklyn with good subway access. (You can get a bit of information from the
website - www.thirdavenueclay.com - which is new and still in process.)

Adrienne Yurick, one of the owners, is a long-time potter and exceptional
instructor (with manyadvanced students). She knows the local community of potters
very well and is generous with both her time and knowledge. Thanx to
Adrienne, the studio is a place that nurtures creativity. I studied with her for six+
years and found her approach to be intellectually challenging, firmly grounded
in technique, and a thoughtful approach to design issues. In a word - she's
very special. If you visit, please say hello to her from me!
