Dear all

If anyone has had problems, as I have had, trying to understand glaze
calculations and those weird-looking formulas and never managing to figure out where
on earth those numbers came from - well, Lili's course can work miracles!
Even if you do understand it all, it's still fun to read.

I have long been interested in glaze technology and tried to learn how the
whole magic process works, but reading the big books (Rhodes, Leach, anything I
could get my muddy mitts on) has always left me more confused than ever. If
only the famous writers had used food as analogy, my problems would never have
occurred in the first place! Choc chip cookies - that's the way to tell it.

I know I still have a a LOT of work and learning ahead of me, but now the
starting-point makes sense, and I am re-re-re-reading the big books with new
comprehension. Also calculating everything in sight - getting unity formulas and
percentage thingies to add up correctly is so cool.

Lili - thank you again and again for all your help and entertainment!
