Dear Clayarters,

Thank you, especially Kurt Wild, for giving me the correct information. The
kiln that my friend built with a flat top lid was probably a Jim McKinnel
kiln that my friend built back in the early 50's.

Regards,

My very first kiln was built with the help of JIm and Nan McKinnel,=20
two chambers, the second one, or maybe the first, my memory fails me
here was to enable both a bisque and a glost firing simultaneously..
it semi worked but I only had a couple of months with it before we
moved and had to dismantle it.

They were both very generous with their time and help. =20
