Hello everyone,
I just received in the mail a box full of brochures for the St. Croix Valley Fine Art Tour in Minnesota: May 7th, 8th. I also discovered this was the show I was invited to and didn't realize it was the tour. So, cool. Anyway, there are many fine artists on this tour working along side the St. Croix River valley area from both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Come check it out.
Artists on this tour Renee & Douglas Sigwarth (Glass), Joe Christensen (Soda Fired Stoneware & Porcelain), Jan Bilek (Porcelain), Dyann Myers (Porcelain) Patrick Casanova (Glass), Tony Ferguson (Wood & Soda Fired Porcelain & Stoneware), Kevin Caufield (Porcelain), Elaine Frederickson (Paintings), Jude Ryan Reiling (Porcelain), Chris Knight (Glass), Carl Erickson (Porcelain), Steve Hemingway (Raku).
There will be a variety of full length entire process glass blowing, pottery throwing, raku firing, metal sculpting demonstrations going on at the various studio locations. Local culinary artist Romaine Hanson will procure fine desserts and appetizers, so bring yourself and friends for there will be fun to be had.
