Hi Ingeborg,

By all means, get to NCECA if possible!

Rather than closing shop during tourist season, would it be possible to have friends open your shop for you for the week (even if only for abbreviated hours)? Perhaps, one person each day or maybe one or two individuals could handle the whole week. You could have a training session to make sure people understand what to do in your absence.

Pick friends who enjoy your pieces and might like to trade some of your pottery for their help! The seller for the day might even bring in some extra business if their friends come while they are in charge. In the mean time, you'd be off charging your batteries in Portland.

Best wishes, Sally McLeod
