Masks have played a major role in most cultures since ancient times. They
have been utilized in religious ceremonies and healing rituals as well as
for entertainment. Class instruction will emphasize the importance of
using armatures, consideration of form and safety and displaying a piece
for show. Part of the class will include a field trip to a local bead
shop to search for adornments for your mask/s. Limited to Six
participants. All levels welcome. Ages 15 and up.
