i have made a command decision
to delete the 600 spams/email/and
the few posts to clayart since friday night.
so,

we are starting fresh.

i you posted an earth shaking post in the past 60 hours
please send it again.

if not.
things will take their normal turn.

we had mutliple failure, but one of the
most difficult ones was that our license ran
out for listserv and the last to know was
our tech at acers.
she is new. so, the chain of command was lost.
she now has all the numbers.

Clayart is working for me NOW and I am receiving (lots of) messages... =
IF I set it to "mail"... but if I try to set it for "digest" (which I =
prefer), I get nada. I've tried many suggestions that people (including =
Mel) have had, including subscribing, unsubscribing and re-subscribing. =
The digest used to work fine (before we got our new computer); I'm =
assuming that it's the computer, with some sort of built in firewall. So =
to just let go of the frustration, I've solved it by giving up on the =
digest and just going through multitudes of single posts.=20

Steve Dorr has installed Listserv 15.5. (the very latest edition of Listserv)
Added new antil/virus Software. (state of the art.)
Has rebuilt the server at acers.

This has all been done at the direction
of the new President of Publications at
American Ceramics Society, Charles Spahr.

We applaud his efforts on our behalf.

Now, if we can continue to build Clayart
into the finest professional web based
clay information site in the world...I will be happy.
