drying of colored clay

Hi All,
I have a question, I have some Dark Brown Cone 10 clay (Jamaica from
Aarvark Clays) that has white grog in it, that takes away the beauty of the
dark clay. Also I find it easier to throw when smooth. I want to sieve out
the grog, by making the clay into slip and then sieve it out in a 100 mesh
screen, my question is: will I need to add anything back to this clay after
I sieve it? Also what is the best way to reconstitue (sic?) the clay to
workable form?
Thanks for all of your advice in advance.
