mel's yellow glaze

is a combination of the work of three people.
mel and joe, and the study of susan karrasch.
it roots back to otto i am sure. way back when.

we are going to call this glaze

`SUSAN'S YELLOW`.

this is just a public announcement to get the record straight.

susan showed me the idea in july.
i changed the recipe,
joe added a change and some ideas of firing.
i changed it all and fired it to cone 13.
but, in the end.
we are still going to call it susan's yellow.

and no, we are not publishing anything yet.
lots of tests to do..and consistent color is
still not achieved.

so, we have
`joe's red temmoku`
`mel's golden temmoku`

this is just a note because i can.
i want this in the archives for later.

credit is still one of the most important aspects of
research.
