in most cases a second application on an electric is
not necessary.

i had a phone conversation with nils lou last night
and he asked if i had an deterioration in my gas
kiln from firing so hot the last six months.
i answered, `not a bit`. i have two coats of itc 100
and a bit heavy coat of porcelain top coat(256a). my kiln
is pure white inside, and looks brand new. my advancer shelves
have not bent a bit. look new.

How about kilnshelves that got glaze on them....can you simply just touch it
up where you took the glaze off?
