cone 8 oxidation recipes

Here are a couple of cone 8 oxidation recipes that I found in my glaze
database. I haven't tested these and I can't attest to their durability, etc.
Naturally, the high copper in one of these would make it an unstable glaze
for functional work.
I think you might find that many glazes listed as cone 9-10 would work at
cone 8. Likewise, some glazes listed as cone 6, might also work at cone 8.
There is a called Somebrite that some friends use at cone 10, and I think it's
pretty low in silica and alumina for cone 10, if memory serves, me, so you
might want to try that at cone 8. The recipe would be in the archives I think.

I suggest that you run these through a glaze calculation program to check if
they're up to today's standards for safety and durability. Most of these are
from publications in the 70's and 80's.
