living in a small rural area in nw pa. i have been hard pressed to get an
empty bowls project going - until this year. a youth group from four
parishes in our area decided to give it a try. met with much enthusiasm we
have kicked off this lenen season with pre-sales of over 1k last weekend and
expect to do the same this weekend. this may be small in comparison to some
empty bowls projects in larger areas, however, it has been one of the most
successful fund raisers for our food pantry, in the recent past. a very
large THANK YOU for those who contributed and helped with your donations.
