Christine
I have an Orton down vent on my electric kiln , two windows in my =
(small) kiln room and metal fire doors - from a fire sale :) for my kiln =
room. With the fan on and windows open I still can smell the fumes when =
the kiln is firing . When the doors are closed I can't.=20

So no. I would not risk bringing a canary into my studio while firing if =
I had just the vent.
