Sheila has been on the Orton webpage and looked in CM and can't find any
applications for the Cone Box Show this year. Does anyone know where I
should look for this? Is it a biennial show? I see that the 2004 winners
will be at Baltimore Clayworks but i can't seem to come up with info on
2005.
Thanks a bunch!

Hi Tony,

It is only held every other year. So, the next will be in 2006.

The Orton International Cone Box Show will be at the Baltimore Clayworks
during NCECA 2005.
From there it travels to the last destination which is The Museum of
Fine Arts in San Angelo Texas, in April. I am already working on the
2006 show and will have the info ready for NCECA including the usual
poster. I have made a CD of the show if anyone is interested in
purchasing one.=20

tony, it is a biennial show.
next application for entries will be in 2006.
i heard from inge balch, that they are in the middle of packing and
shipping the 2004 orton cone box show to baltimore right now.
it will be displayed at the baltimore clayworks before and during the
NCECA there.
after that it goes on to san angelo,tx as it is a traveling show.
last year the same show was exhibited at the indianapolis nceca.

cheers,marta
