is called "When Clay Sings" by Byrd Baylor. I have a first edition
printing from 1972, SBN 684-12807-1
I have seen it reprinted, they had it at Trinity Ceramic Supply back
when I interned there in '98 or '99.
I have used it in the classroom with kids under 10, reading them the
story & showing the pictures, and then having them use the many
patterns in the book for decoration...I think it's a great resource.
