buds answer to beer butt chicken

I emailed Budweiser and explain the concern about the ink/paint on the =
cans if used for Beer Butt Chicken. This is their answer.
Dear Edy,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Web site and e-mail =
Anheuser-Busch.

Anheuser-Busch does not encourage or recommend the use of a beer can =
inside a chicken while cooking. The cans, and specifically the inks, =
are not manufactured or designed for that purpose. However, there is a =
cookware item designed for this purpose available at retail stores.

Again, Edy, thank you for writing Anheuser-Busch, it was our pleasure to =
receive your e-mail. We always enjoy hearing from friends, so please =
let us know if you have any additional questions or comments.

Sincerely,

Your Friends at Anheuser-Busch

So there you have it straight from the Chicken's butt -er - can's mouth =
--or whatever. Maybe Coor's has a better answer. I guess if you use the =
can, cover it with foil or start making those kitchy beer/chicken =
holders - non-toxic of course.
