It's everywhere and yet when the little explanation comes up, "For =
Statistics Only" you wonder for whose statistics. I don't want to be =
part of anyone's statistics and I think it should be an optional =
question
But if we make it a law that you cannot ask then it is another issue to =
clog up our courts. You would think I would be happy about that working =
for a group of lawyers.....
We can only hope that organizations get a little more sensitive to this =
and not worry so much about statistics when it involves nationality and =
even sex.

it was optional, at least i thought so, when i checked the last option
which said : dont want to disclose it.
maybe if 99% of nceca registrants chose that one, they would stop asking.

but, why is it when you fill out a form you have to choose if you are
a MR, a MRS, a MISS or a MS.
there is only one for the guys, but if you are a female you have to say if
you are married or want to be married or you are fed up with the boys...
and after you choose one of those you still have to check if you are
an M or a F ... that is interesting!

instead of caucasian, i`d like to say i am a barbarian, because i am a hun.
after seeing all those credit card ads on tv, where attila
and his buddies run to get you...if you want to pay with the
wrong card! back in hungary we had great respect for those folks, after all
they were our ancestors!

ok, end of rant...see you in mendocino!
love and peace,

marta the hun

This seems like a rational solution.

Anyone who has attended a University in America isn't
surrised by this data. When I was in school, there usually wasn't a
box for me to check my mixed background. Eventually, I ended up
jotting it in.
