Hmmm, yes, I read that in the brochure and on the website. But I took
it to mean two separate pieces. That the thrown piece for the display
could be anything (I guess including the bowl for the exchange) and
that the bowl exchange was a separate thing.
I was figuring on bringing a couple different pieces - one of which was
a bowl.

Either way this is going to be fun! I hope we get a break in the rain
for that weekend, at least during the driving days. The Tuesday before
the workshop I have to drive to San Francisco for MacWorld. The Tuesday
after the workshop I have to drive to Cupertino for another
presentation at Apple.

Lotsa driving coming up this month! My brother-in-law's suggestion -
learn to fly.

My workshop brochure from the Potter's Council says Don't forget to bring=
one of your best "thrown" pieces for display in the members gallery duri=
ng our Friday reception. And it lists on Sat 5-6:30 Bowl exchange and Ha=
ppy Hour.
So my understanding is that we each bring one of our best bowls, put it i=
n the gallery show and have a bowl exchange Sat eve.
My dream bowl to bring would be an Asian influenced woodfired tea bowl b=
ut since that isn't what I do best I will be bringing another type bowl. =
I'm working with my students on a project to make bowls to bake onion so=
up in. I have 6 in progress and if one turns out wonderful, I will be br=
inging it with my famous recipe for homemade French Onion soup.
