Just wanted to wish everyone on ClayArt a Happy New Years
and to thank everyone who helped me get to this point, i.e.:
decisions on Kiln choice,
shed vs. kiln building,
steel vs. wood building.
Thanks to all your input I have just fired up for the first time my new
Geil Kiln in a steel kiln building (thanks to David Hendley's suggestions)
I mixed up some cone 10 glazes
Malcolm Davis Shino
Reitz Green
Winnie Blue
and a green celadon
Thanks to John Britt for a wonderful book on high fire glazes
So many people to thank, I have learned so much through all of the ongoing
discussions.
No burn out here, excitedly looking forward to the kiln opening and a great
new year.
