Hi everyone,

Looking for a place where I can take lessons in the Ottawa Valley area (around Pembroke, ON). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Jim.

Hi Jim,
The Deep River Potters' Guild offers lessons after Xmas - we are about a 30
minute drive from Pembroke and next set of lessons begins in early January.
The lessons are free with Guild membership. Membership fees are $85 for new
members ($55 after Xmas). We have 5 wheels, (one of wheels is electric), 2
electric kilns, slab roller, tools, glazes etc. Membership gives you 24 hour
key access. Also on Jan 22 and 23 we are having a workshop with Tim Storey
whose specialty is fabulous handbuilt teapots and cost for that will be in
the range of $60.
Let me know if interested. Right now we have a member from Petawawa who
comes up for the lessons.
