3134

Na20 .317
Cao .683
B2O3 . 632
Sio2 1.478

Gerstley Borate

Na2O .122
CaO .878
Al2O3 .179
B2O3 .962
SiO2 .920

Get my point? No? Ok.

3134 had no alumina, so that might be a problem as you are adding =
alumina, with the GB.
And the GB has more Boron which makes it runnier, but then the alumina =
may relieve that. If you depend on the soda for a color effect, well =
that would be lessened, I expect. And the lower silica content of the =
GB will make the glaze "weaker". Last but not least frits relieve =
crazing, GB crazes easily.

Don't know what else is in your glaze. If it is rich in clay and flint =
it might work. If not....I am sorry to say that unless we know more =
about the glaze, and how much of frit is in there....I would pay =
overnight shipping on the frit....
