KIm: I guess you people that don't live in the colonies have never heard of
British Racing Green. This has been my all time favourite colour since my
teens. Had a Triumph Spitfire- BRG, a Norton Commando- BRG, and now lust
for a Mini Cooper S BRG with a white roof. 60's muscle cars could often be
ordered BRG. I was the sports car type and my brothers were into muscle
cars. My one brother had a 66 Chevelle 396- 375 horse BRG with red line
tires and the other a 67 Hemi Cuda- guess what colour? As far as i know BRG
is still a very popular colour for race cars.
When my kids bought their Honda Civics the insurance guy adviced against
red. Yes, the fee is higher. Maybe it is the aggressive thing. Watch out for
Hendley- he's a red freak! The worst aggessive kind.
cheers,
Tony
