I buy "Mizzi" wheels from a jewelers supply house. The are a small
rubber wheel wtih various grits embedded in the rubber. You mount them
on a mandrell that is then chucked up in the jaws of a Dremel Tool. Does
a beautiful job of grinding glaze dribbles and drips.

Dear Claire,

These micro sand blasting pens are neat tools. Somewhat rare (I doubt you
will find them in the hardware store) but I am a sucker for obscure tools.
I saw one making filigree patterns in eggshells at a Trade Show some years
ago so you will appreciate the delicacy you can achieve. For glazes there
are several aggressive media that will work well they are also handy for
making stress free holes in bisque fired, fully fired ceramics or glass.

The product can be obtained from:
Hunter Products Inc, 792 Partridge Drive, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
