For all of you who were following the thread on Jiri (aka Yiri) =
Minarik's travails with the sometimes shivering, shaling Shino, you can =
see an example of a piece that behaved itself nicely in this month's =
issue of Clay Times (Gallery, p. .41).
(He would never blow his own horn like this, so I'm doing it for him).

And if you'll be around Berkeley, CA between now and Christmas you can =
see a lot more of his work in person at Earthworks. We're a 6-member =
co-op (now temporarily 5) participating in the 4-week holiday Open =
Studios here. You can also see pottery by our other members Bob Pool, =
Richard Urban, Glenda Jordan, and of course my handcrafted tiles. Gail =
Cohen, who was a member for years lost her long valiant battle with =
cancer last month.

We're in a great builidng that houses lots of other artists and crafts =
people also participating in the Open Studios - includes 3 glass blowing =
studios, jewelers, decorative and fine painters, furniture makers & =
more. Our good landlord kindly made a website (free) for any tenants =
who wanted to participate. Website is not desgned to load quickly =
initially but otherwise works pretty well.=20
