Yep, take any clear glaze, add some copper carbonate and some red
iron oxide. Vary the percentage of each to strengthen the color. In
an alkaline base, the copper will go bluer.

Just be cautioned as well that your base might get the color you want, but
I have found that these oxides in many bases ran or crazed, where other
oxides did not. Make a lot of tests.
