and I completely agree for a major or critical project in a kiln. But it
might be helpful to know that you can reconstitute castables by adding
portland cement. My experience has been approx. 1 part portland to 5
parts castable. I repeat, I WOULD NOT use this for critical components
in a kiln, but I have certainly had good success with it for port plugs=20
for the wood kiln and other minor functions.=20
