Morning John

Could you provide more information about the tool you mentioned in your =
answer to Gayle ?

I can visualize the tool - pad on inside of pot, long side as handle and =
one finger or fingers on bottom of pot to stabilize the operation. Is =
that correct ? =20

Curious about the pad part and wondering about the stiffness of the =
metal used.=20

I tried a device made with a 3 -4 inch diameter wood disc with about 6 =
screws put through, ends dulled/ground. Held that inside large bowl =
other hand holding base of piece and moving the whole thing through the =
glaze in the same manner that you would if using tongs. Sort of worked =
, needs refinement. Need large tub of glaze. Dependent on the glaze =
the screw blemishes repaired well.

Thank you, MarjB

I looked at the pictures, but must have not read what the material is on the
inside wire. Looks like a sponge or what?

My computer broke down over a week ago and has been in the computer hospital
trying to recover. I am in the process of reinstalling programs and hoping
that all is not lost. I missed you all.

Warm regards,

Bonnie Staffel of Charlevoix. It may snow tonight???

Bonnie ,
I used a strip of old bath towel and the wire was heavy gauge fencing wire. This tool has its limitations in regard to weight .
