Hello everyone, I manage the ceramics and sculpture program for a
community art center in Jackson Hole Wyoming. We are eagerly
anticipating our imminent move into a new state of the art facility
(http://www.jhcenterforthearts.org)
. Our new home will give us the space and resources to provide more
comprehensive programming to the local community and put us on track to
be able to offer workshops which will draw participants from other areas
as well.
In preparation for our first season in our new facility I am planning a
series of workshops for the summer 2005. I am looking for someone to
lead a kiln building workshop. I have some kiln building experience, but
we want to bring in someone from outside the area to lead the
construction with me and a group of students.

I am also interested in hearing ideas from potential workshop presenters
in other areas and collecting a list of names for future consideration.

If you or anyone you know of would be interested in these opportunities
please email me a brief statement of qualifications, contact
information, and any other pertinent info such as links to websites,
desired fees, etc.

Thanks, we look forward to seeing clayart folks at the foot of the
Tetons in beautiful Jackson Wyoming.

Michael, that seems like a pretty ambitious project,
how many workshops do you think you can fit into your
two weeks of summer?
