I fire my kilns in the basement/studio of my house and we triple vent.
1. Orton style vent, 2. Enviornvent over the top. 3. Big Exhaust fan
pulling air out through the whole studio.

At least the Cardinals are not being beaten by the Yankess.

Chuck,

The big exhaust fan might work against the smaller fans trying
to put the fumes outside. You want fans going in the opposite
direction of the kiln vents. What I do to help the kiln vents, is push
fresh air into the space.

I learned this with woodstoves. If you have fans sucking air
out of the room, you can make the woodstove smoke in my studio. :-( :-)

Thanks for that Lee. I was beginning to think
it worked that way on the other side of the world

Best,

Correction (dyslexia strikes again!) This should read: "If you
have
fans sucking air OUT of the room..."
