Mel: I have to admit in public that i have over 100 christmas ornaments in
the firing and they're red. We make Christmas ornaaments every year to give
to our customers. They' re dated and people collect them. Red knick knacks!
Very few come for their ornament and not buy something.
Now, I just had a student salt fire and do the Hank stall exce-pt at 1900.
The cystal growth was amazing. Now I'm thinking about my Tony's Gold local
lustre ware and how the crystal growth could be amazing but I have those
knick knacks in there too.
Mel your mention of a hold- is it in reduction or a hankie oxidation stall.
Been getting some great lustre but i want more. Want to be bought out like
Otto. Need my knackers red though just like poking them with a toothpick.
The very thought turned me red.
cheers,
Tony
