I read the review of the Wedgewood book with great interest. In case anyone on the list was not aware- I believe the largest collection of Wedgewood outside of England is in the Birmingham AL Museum of Art. My 90 year old best friend( he collects Wedgewood and has since...) and I have gone several times and every time you go you see something new. Wonderful permanant exihibit. This collection was done by a couple who just did it out of love.
I only own two pieces-a tiny clock and a piece of basalt given to me by Robert, my 90 yr. old friend which was made in the year of my birth. When I go to the museum, I can dream....... :-)
