Hi Christie- I fired some apache tears (obsidian) and they foamed up like
mad. Good thing they were on large enough shards. I'm pretty sure it was
at about 1900, but I could be wrong- could have been cone 6 or so. I must
have turned the kiln off during that window before the bubbles burst and ran
together.
