Hello,

I have some students wqho want to produce peeling and crawling glazes at
1260c. Does anyone out there have any reliable recipes? We are working in
the UK, so UK materials would be a bonus!

Suggest as a starting point a 50/50 mix of any feldspar or nephline
syenite and magnesium carbonate.

I guess you might have missed the recent thread on Texture/Crawl glazes
I posted a message a couple days ago that might help you (11/10/04)
If you cannot get to the archives just get your students to click on
