Good point Ivor,

We touched on this a while back. While I'm impressed with really large
pieces (would love to try them but have limited storage space), I'm far
more attracted to pieces that are very small but have (for want of a
better phrase) a sense of presence about them that is far greater than
their size.

I'm talking mostly about the work of people like Geoffrey Swindle, Marta
Matray, and many others. There are whole universes in these small,
intimate pieces.

I'm not really taking about miniatures. The pieces I have in mind are
not small scale versions of other things. they're something different.
Something in their own write

In a way, good cups, especially sake/liqour cups do this for me too.
